Awesumton- AWT
Awesumton is a historic relic of the past with a history stained in blood and overwhelmed with hatred. This countries origin remains a mystery since it was often ravaged with war that would lead to the burning of the documents of the previous rulers. Then a clan of assasins was put together by the first king of the country to protect himself: the Sheikah. The Sheikah were a secret organization, but their existence came to light after they saved the king's life several times. When the governmental system in Awesumton changed from a monarchy, the Sheikah changed into a more governmental institution, however, parts of the organization serve as the nation's secret special forces, and their influence in the underground of Awesumton is great. Modern presidents have tried to seize the power of the Sheikah by calling them a corrupted organization. Eventually the organization began to move to take over the country once the newest President started to move against the organization and spoke of having them disbanded for the country to make peace with it's rivals. As the news became more public the people started to take sides on wether or not for the group to be removed. Soon a new group of rebels that sided with the Sheikah saying that the organization was the countries only means for protection and the President was trying to have the country overthrown by complying with the countries enemies. The few supporters of the decision were often tried as spies and tortured and killed by the revolutionists. Soon the country was divided and began to fall into civil breakouts and officially declared a war zone recently. The country currently has two flags one being the official State flag and the other being the rebel flag. Which ever side that does win will decide the fate and future of this foresaken land.
In our country, our national bird is the Humming Bird. We chose this bird because it has very unique colors, and it is small and agile. A lot of families decided to hang decorative Humming Birds in their houses because it represents their love for this country!
The Sunflower, is our countries national flower. The sunflower is known for its beauty and for bringing a lot of brightness to the citizens gardens.
We decided to have a Palm Tree as our countries national tree. Palms are one of the most well known planted tree families.

In Awesumton, there are two major environmental problems, both stemming from the massive industrial presence on the island. The first issue is an obvious problem, that being air and water pollution. Factories and cars are a large part of the city, and the pollution caused by those is a major problem and contributes to a lot of smog. The other major problem is the nuclear power plant and the waste it generates. The government has used the mountains to bury atomic waste for years, and even a slight amount of leakage can cause radiation poisoning among the poorer classes living in the mountains.

*Cultural Norms, Customs, and Taboos (must have at least 2 of each) -- In Awesumton, it is traditional to let anybody into your house and give them a meal simply in exchange for the story of their travels. This practice extends from a very popular myth about how one day, one of the gods (it is told differently by each religion) transformed himself into a human and came down to the world where he set out to discover if his creation was worth continuing. He walked from town to town, but was shunned because he was a stranger. That is, until he came to the house of Adlez and Knil, two friends who were poor, but gladly accepted the god into their house to partake in what little food they had. After eating, the god told the friends the story of his travels and revealed his true identity to them. He then made it so the friends would never be hungry again by giving them a pot that would forever bring forth spaghetti, red sauce, and meatballs (vegetarian ones if the user of the pot required it). This brings us to the second tradition of Awesumton. On Christmas, whole towns get together and make a gigantic pot of spaghetti which they share with everyone, especially the hungry. It is taboo in Awesumton to not eat spaghetti at least once a year. It is also taboo to not share your spaghetti with someone whenever you make it, unless you are alone in the month of April and there is a full moon.

The current president, Meanman Baddafi, seized dictatorial power when, after he was elected, he had himself emergency powers to combat a fabricated uprising within the Sheikah. He has held power ever since.
